Langkawi: an archipelago of more than 100 islands synonymous with sandy shores and jungle-cloaked valleys.

In front of the coast of Perlis are the 104 islands in the Langkawi archipelago.

Despite having attractive beaches, the islands receive few visitors. The quiet Taiping in Perak is formed by beautiful gardens, lakes, well preserved historical buildings, an interesting night market without tourists. Also in Perak is the historic royal town of Kuala Kangsar, it has excellent mosques and palaces and was the birthplace of the Malaysian rubber industry. Ipoh, Perak's capital, is home to elegant mansions and impressive temples inside the caves. Although it is quite difficult to visit, Tasik Chini in central Pahang state is worthwhile. These twelve lakes surrounded by a beautiful forest area, with excellent spots for hiking and also rumored that there lives a Loch Ness monster cousin. Taman Negara National Park, accessible only by boat, offers the opportunity to visit one of the best-preserved rainforests on the planet.
